கீழ் கண்ட பட்டியல் முழுமையானது அல்ல – விடுபட்டவர்கள் பலர் இன்னமும் உள்ளனர் – குறிப்பாப சிவப்பு எழுத்தில் குறிப்பிட்டவர்கள் பிராமணர்கள். சுதந்திர வேள்வியிலும் – சமூக சீர்திருத்தங்களிலும் பிராமணர்கள் பங்கு 60 விழுக்காடுகளுக்கு மேல் என்பது எதார்த்த உண்மை. ( இவர்களை குற்றம் சொல்பவர்கள் சுயநல வியாதிகள் என்பது சொல்லாமலே கண்கூடாக தெரியும் உண்மை ) இதே நிலைமைதான் ஆங்கிலேயர்கள் அதிக ஆதிகம் செலுத்திய வங்காளம் – மகாராஷ்டிரம் மாநிலத்திலும் இருந்தது என்பது பலருக்குத் தெரியாது. இதில் சில தவறுகளும் இருக்கலாம் – சுட்டிகாட்டினால் சரிசெய்யலாம். மேலும் பிராமணர் அல்லாத பலர் ஆரம்பநாட்களில் காங்கிரசில் இருந்து விடுதலை போரில் ஈடுபட்டவர்கள் கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக பதவி – பணம் – பட்டம் என்று பேராசையால் அ ( நீதிக்கட்சியில் ) தங்களை இணைத்துக் கொண்டனர். அதைப்போல் கொள்கை பற்றால் பல பிராமணர்கள் தங்களை கம்யூனிசத்தில் இணைத்துக் கொண்டனர். இதே நிலைமை தான் பாரதம் முழுவதும் பரவலாக நடந்தது. இஸ்லாமியர்கள் நம்பகதன்மை இல்லாதவர்கள் என்பது நாம் சுதந்திரத்திற்கு முன்னும் பின்னும் நடந்த கலவரங்களைக் கொண்டு உணரலாம்.
